Why I started Ascend
I've always loved a good fragrance — the kind people stop you to ask about. I just didn't love paying designer prices for it.
It started on holiday. Everywhere I went there were shops full of fragrance oils — concentrated scent you roll onto the skin instead of spraying. I came home with the idea and couldn't let it go.
So I started mixing my own. Concentrated fragrance oils, blended into jojoba, in a roller that fits in your pocket. No alcohol, so it sits on the skin and lasts through the day instead of disappearing after an hour.
After months of testing on myself, I found the ratio that gets the strength and longevity right. Friends started asking for bottles. In 2026, that turned into Ascend.

How every bottle is made
No factory, no production line. Each roller is mixed, filled and boxed by hand at home in the UK.

Choose the oil
Each fragrance oil comes with its safety paperwork, and is checked against the limits for perfume worn on skin.

Blend by hand
Measured by syringe: 3ml of fragrance to 7ml of jojoba. The ratio that took the longest to get right.

Let it settle
Each batch rests for a few days so the fragrance and oil blend fully before bottling.

Fill, label, box
Filled into a 10ml steel roller, labelled with its number and batch, and packed in a black gift box.
